We are deeply shocked and saddened by the recent terrorist attack on a memorial ceremony in Kerman city in the Islamic Republic of Iran that claimed more than 100 lives and injured many more. Bangladesh condemns this cowardly terrorist attack in the strongest terms. Killing of innocent people participating in a commemorative event is a horrific crime against humanity. We reiterate our firm position against terrorism in all its forms.          Bangladesh stands in solidarity with the people of Iran in this hour of grief.         On behalf of the Government of Bangladesh and my own behalf, I offer my sincere condolences to the brotherly people of Iran. May the Almighty Allah bless the departed souls and give strength and fortitude to the bereaved families.
