In the Name of Allah   On August 10,2026, upon the official invitation extended by the ASEAN Secretariat,  H.E. Dr. Rahimi Jahanabadi, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Bangladesh attended the ceremony commemorating the 59th anniversary of the founding of Association of Souteast Asian Nations(ASEAN). During the event, His Excellency held constructive discussions and exchanged views on key regional developments with ASEAN officials, the Minister of Fisheries and livestock of Bangladesh and several resident Ambassadors. In a cordial exchange, the Honorable Minister of Fisheries and livestock of Bangladesh expressed his interest in undertaking an official visit to Iran. On the sideline of the ceremony, correspondents from various media outlets requested interviews with H.E. Ambassador regarding regional developments in the Persian Gulf. These interviews are scheduled to take place in the coming days.
