In the Name of Allah, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful On 20 September 2026, the inaugural meeting of the Policy-Making Council of the Persian Poem(Qand-e Parsi) Festival was convened in Dhaka, with the participation of H.E. Dr. Rahimi Jahanabadi, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Bangladesh, the Cultural Counsellor, distinguished professors of Persian language from the Universities of Dhaka and Rajshahi, the Head of the Persian Association, and the Head of the Department of Persian Literature at the University of Dhaka. During the meeting, the Festival’s Charter and its operational framework and arrangements for its implementation were reviewed and duly approved.
