In the Name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful The Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran participated in the international conference of the Bay of Bengal regional countries. The third edition of the international "Bay of Bengal Conversation 2026" (BOBC) conference commenced on Saturday, October 2, 2026, at the Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel in Dhaka, with the presence of government officials, diplomats, policymakers, researchers, economic actors, and experts from various countries. This three-day conference is being held under the theme "Fractures, Frontiers, and Futures: Managing Power, Technology, and Trust in a Redefined World." Approximately 200 speakers, over 300 delegates, and more than 1,000 participants from over 100 countries are attending the event. In his inaugural address, Mr. Tarique Rahman, Prime Minister of Bangladesh, stated that the new government, backed by the mandate of the people, has formulated a clear agenda to fulfill its commitments over the next five years.
