Attendance of the Iranian Ambassador to Dhaka at Bangladesh Mass Uprising Commemoration

On August 5, 2026, H E. Dr. Rahimi Jahanabadi, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Bangladesh, attended the official state commemoration marking the Anniversary of the July 2024 popular and student Uprising.

The ceremony was attended by the Honorable Tarique Rahman Prime Minister of Banglaadesh, cabinet ministers, resident foreign ambassadors, as well as prominent political and religious figures. During the event, the National Memorial Museum of the Mass Uprising was officially inaugurated at the residence of the deposed Prime Minister, Sheikh Hasina.
