Ambassador’s Participation in a Farewell and Welcoming Ceremony for some Heads of Mission in Dhaka

H.E. Dr. Rahimi Jahanabadi Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Bangladesh attended a diplomatic ceremony hosted for the farewell and welcoming of several resident Ambassadors.

On Tuesday, August 25, 2026, upon the invitation of the Embassy of the State of Palestine in Dhaka in it's capacity as the Dean of the Diplomatic Corps, His Excellency Dr. Rahimi Jahanabadi, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Bangladesh, attended a diplomatic ceremony hosted for the farewell and welcoming of several resident Ambassadors.

During the event, the newly appointed Ambassadors of India and Iraq were officially introduced, while the departing Ambassadors of Singapore and Vietnam bid their farewells. On the sidelines of the ceremony, Dr. Rahimi held bilateral exchange of views with several attending heads of mission.
