On October 19, 2026, His Excellency Dr. Rahimi Jahanabadi, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Dhaka, met with Mr. Shahriar Kader Siddiky, Secretary of the Economic Relations Division at the Ministry of Finance of the People's Republic of Bangladesh.

The meeting, which was also attended by a panel of economic experts from the ministry, focused on matters of mutual interest aimed at expanding bilateral economic relations between the two countries.
